Something different
radically new
in the words of the Seder
spoken by the Christ
The bread and the wine
no longer the same symbols
a sacrifice different
radically new
The lamb of God
not the lamb of the Passover
the blood to be written
on the lintels of our hearts
But just as important
the repeating, remembering
the bread and the wine
his body and his blood
