the jar of our flesh – v2

treasure within our bodies
our will, our spirit
held within the vessel
the jar of our flesh

like the clay jar of Mary
which she broke and poured
on the feet of Jesus
in worship and praise

alabaster skin of our bodies
only but a glove
love held with abandon
to be given, poured out

treasure within my body
our love held in clay jars
offered, as Mary did,
broken and poured
