taking on human flesh
stumbling in the dust
the walk of this earth
Christ made himself a fool
though he is fully God
walking more slowly
the way of the world
Christ taught us love
his time in ministry
not the ways of the world
but submissive to God
Christ walked in piety
not turning to the right or the left
the one human holy
yet paying the awful cost
Christ made himself a fool
a stumbling block for the world
offering himself as a sacrifice
to save the people of earth
