not a soldier-king
to overthrow the yoke by force
to command armies
to fight that good fight
how blessed the King was the shepherd
caring for his sheep,
offering himself a sacrifice
to keep them safe from harm
how blessed the Savior taught us love
turning the world upside down
valuing our faithfulness
not the things of this earth
how blessed that Christ was a fool
teaching us how to walk
humble, as a sacrifice
sharing the love of God
