consequence of worship

covenant brings us to our knees
bringing us back to God
into a time of worship
individual, personal
into a time of fellowship,
corporate, familial
into the family of God

consequence to worship
to our time with God
reminding us of the covenant
all we ever need
all we need in life
offered by the creator
his hand to provide

the charge of worship
to our time in covenant
filled with the love of God
our call to offer up
our bodies, our lives
to share God’s holy message
to be witnesses in this time
