given a new beginning in Christ

not abandonment, condemnation
earning death, laid aside, forgotten
what our lives deserved
damned under the law
the word of God, his commands
but grace came down
God offered himself that we might live
we are redeemed, restored, made whole
given a new beginning,
a new life in Christ
