our iniquity writ large
so quick to judge others
easier to see their sins
Look in the mirror
be slow to speak a judgment
the log in our own eyes
making us blind, to see
that which we need to change
to repent, to believe
needing to show God’s mercy
in all we say and do
compassion for our neighbors
and faithfulness to God
