some bland, blind rote
God wants authentic worship
in our deeds and our talk
he wants us to come to him
humble, on bended knee
offering our prayers unto him
come, all who believe
Heartfelt words, brutally honest
tearing off every mask
bearing our souls unto God
in silence, in our quiet room
not for show, for recognition
not as the Pharisees did
we are to come to God wholly
offering our lives to him
