The Jihadist and the Lamb – v2

God’s chosen people, the leaders, the people
before the power of Roman
at the seat of the oppressor
choosing to free the man
a Jihadist of the people
ready for confrontation
sacrificing the Lamb

The threat to authority
Al Qaeda of that day
Caesar freeing a terrorist
on that fateful day

The king of the Jews to the slaughter
the long awaited Messiah
God’s chosen people
making him the sacrifice

The anarchist, murderer
the Jihadi to the faithful
freed by the tyrant
chaos on the march
the storm clouds building
the Lamb of God surrender
sent to the cross for slaughter
