Trusting God with our prayers

all of this a matter of the heart
knowing God already knows
the words we will speak
yet important to speak the word
to share God’s love
trusting God with our prayers
our dreams and our sorrows
what keeps us up
in the middle of the night
all which we carry
brought to God in prayer
trusting him to answer
finding comfort there
