each day of our life
what will we choose
damnation or life
Will we mock God
will we spit on the Christ
jeering him as we are dying
or go to paradise
God’s judgment completed
justice meted out
hanging on our cross
that hill, Calvary
On our cross next to Christ
like those two thieves
guilty of our sin
failing to believe
None of us deserving
anything from Christ
yet one to damnation
another to paradise
Will we accept Christ’s offer
turning from our sin
will we remain with the other
or will we live in Him
