Our sins, our disobedience
our feet of clay,
unable to live
by the law of God
faithful to him
as he is faithful to us
For this we are guilty
causing them pain
the fateful decision
the grace of God
the son descending
coming to earth
as a humble man
Baptized into service
walking the land
showing God to all
turning, going
to Jerusalem to die
faithful to God’s call
proclaimed from on high.
