The challenge of the pastor
asking us a series of questions
silence in the first answer
to “what new things do you see God doing?”
only later a couple of responses
the lift for our building
and new workers
for the nursery and
for our fried dough booth
On more reflection
what would we offer
on turning his question
into a verb
church in action
in what we say and do
in all of our days
not in formal functions
but how we live our lives
