Christ falling into the waters
beginning his journey
ministry, service
the long journey
throughout the land
the way of the cross
to suffering
to salvation
rising again
Needing John’s hands
his words, lowering him in
into the waters
dying to his past
taking on his yoke
the cross of his life
accepting the commissioning
the descending of the dove
sending him out
to share the master’s love
