A New Thing, as at the Beginning

A page from ancient scripture
which set their feet in motion
again calling, us to worship
a new thing, as at the beginning
action not institutions
buildings of brick and stone

Going as a verb, a living thing
church in real lives
connecting with real people
so we are meant to be
out of our pews
speaking his good news
changing lives
by the things we say and do
