The measure of a man
who has the most toys
the biggest portfolio
the ostentatious wealth
maybe here on earth
mired in the dust
not so in heaven
such merely dross
rewards of this life
a stumbling block for God
condemning the wealthy
barred from highest heaven

Luke 12:15
“And he said unto them, Take heed,
and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth
not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.”
