Come to the cross of mercy

Come to the cross of mercy
where Christ laid his life down
choosing death, submission
faithful to God’s call

Come to the cross of mercy
where God showed us love
how we are to love our neighbors
how we are to love God

Come to the cross of mercy
bear your soul before God
turn from the world, repentant
He will raise you up

Out of the pit, darkness
into the light of God
walking with you ever
beyond the end of time
