God’s laws twisted by man

God’s life-giving laws
his commands for us
showing us how to live
showing us how to love

God’s laws turned right around
twisted, unrecognizable, by man
to give themselves the crown

Denying God first place
love for our fellow man
seeking after our own selves
our neighbors to be damned.
