The cry of the Sacrifice
the words of the Lamb
the Son of God on the cross
ready to join the damned
God crying out to the Father
the Son, the foretold Savior
a petition for all of us
to be forgiven of our poison
The stain, the cup he drank
the bile of our journey
our rejection, rebellion
our walk in the world’s darkness
The cry of the Sacrifice
the words of the Lamb
praying God would forgive us
to save us from the damned
