The words of Christ,
that he loves us,
modeling love,
at the cross
Taking on their sins
of all people
even as we crucified
murdered our Savior
So much love for us
God offering grace
mercy for us
there in that act
Showing love
how we should love one another
not standing on pretense
but sacrificing for us
