He washed their feet,

He sat at table with them,

He shared with them everything

for those three years.

He called his betrayers friends

those who would desert Him

those who would deny His name

that would lead Him to prison.

He offered Himself for them,

He became the sacrifice

climbing the rugged cross

to redeem them from the dead.
