starting changed – v2

stopping everything
our blind march forward;
our running around, frantic,
in our daily lives.

pausing in our lives
breathing in Sorrow;
starting in ashes
starting changed, forever.

the weight of this moment,
the journey Christ traveled;
coming down from the mountain
to Jerusalem, to the cross.
