We are free from the restraints,
the bonds which have
held us captives,
Free from the snares
the limits, the temptations
of our mortal lives.
Jesus has set us free.
By His death we die
By His resurrection
We live; we are raised
from the dead with Him.
We who were buried
are raised like Him
We are baptized,
spiritually circumcised
into the family of God,
free from the ledger of our sins
erased and made clean.
