Bound by Our Fears

Timid disciples
captive to the world
failing to speak
to carry God’s holy word

Bound by our fears
setting peoples apart
focused on the differences
not the stirrings of our hearts

Something must change
the Spirit within calling
leading if we would follow
not knowing where to begin

God will call us
if we are open to Him
the Master’s plan for our days
a better tomorrow
if we truly walk in his ways
