As We Prepare to Celebrate

We should be living
filled with infinite joy
we should be singing
praises to God on high

As we prepare to celebrate
the birth of our risen Lord
the one who came to the earth
who came to heal the world

We should be singing
praises shouted on high
wearing our joy on our lives
witnesses to God’s great love
