We follow the Shepherd

Our prayer shared together
calling us into your presence
the wooing of the Spirit
speaking directly to us

The leader spoke the words,
“Come, walk in green pastures”.
Our lives responded for us,
“We follow the Shepherd”.

Our prayer for our lives
our walk on this earth
all in that statement, that wish
to follow where Christ leads.
