This was not corporate prayer
but we were praying together
in fervent prayer
private prayer together
crying out to God
a cacophony to my ears
as if a gathering at Babel
all of our voices separate
but this must be how it is
every second in heaven
individual prayers raised up
praise and petitions
spoken out loud in the sanctuary
all lifted simultaneously
to our God in heaven
