a spark is kindled
a seed is planted
yeast hidden in flour
like our faith growing
hidden within us
the soil of our hearts
we tend the spark
warming the dough
giving water to the earth
the flames building
the bread rising,
shoots bursting forth
our faith well bloomed
in its season
become a brushfire
to speak over the earth
