at times,
on my journey,
I am given
words, the Spirit
seeds of
the kingdom
to nurture,
to share
wisdom of
scripture
as I am praying
to be a vessel
an empty
bowl of clay
I am the
Sower
the words I
have been gifted
to be
shared, to be scattered
to be
spread on the wind
not merely
planted
in neat,
ordered rows
to be
scattered richly
never
running out, scattered,
to where I
do not know
I am the
Sower
only to be
faithful
to pray to
be gifted
the words
to do the work
the
treasure in the seeds
our hope,
God’s promise
sowing the
seeds, watering,
God to
provide the growth
