Christ called us to love
the model of faith
submission to God
to love as He loves us;
calling us friends
giving His life for us
leading us if we will follow
in the way, in the light
Lay down your life for your friends
an inconvenient truth
the way of the Lord, our Savior
in love, in servanthood;
calling us friends
giving His life for us
leading us if we will follow
through the gate of the cross
