Another Threshold

Another threshold,
another door,
another world,
to explore.

Going out to serve
to preach, to share
to bring your word
to those in need out there.

Another chapter,
another verse,
and no, we are not
merely asked to rehearse.

A real place
for you to grow
to shape and build,
to gather and to sow.

A call affirmed,
a place to stand
your voice needed
in a different land.

Work to do
in that new place
asking ever for
God’s saving grace.
