Only by his dying
by giving himself over
only in Christ’s sacrifice
could we all be redeemed
No other one able
save for Christ himself
fully righteous before the Lord
unblemished, a servant of God
He alone worthy
wholly divine yet fully man
becoming the lamb, the sacrifice
an offering to God
that our sins would be washed away
In his resurrection
defeating the sting, the stain
the permanency of death
that we may live again
