Even in his pain

The Messiah, now the lamb
dying on the tree
a sacrifice for us
that we would be free

Even in his pain
there on the cross
calling out to God
redeem us from the lost

To have mercy, forgiveness
to give us new life
for we are human
His sheep that once were lost.
