We
struggle to maintain control
but
control is an illusion;
failure
in our footsteps
not
following God’s purpose
Christ
is the example
modeling
the way,
becoming
the servant
the
atoning sacrifice
Christ
giving up majesty
God
now the Lamb;
power
in submission
God,
the Great I Am
Giving
to God
our
whole lives,
a
harvest of mercy
a
joy that will last
Giving
to God
our
lives, our spirits
hope
for a future
for
new life in Christ
