Speaking Loudly

The many voices
speaking loudly
the disciples speaking
many languages

Drawing the diaspora
from all the nations
coming together to hear them
preaching the good news

Infused with the Spirit
the tongues of fire descended
giving them voice
empowered to speak

Sharing Jesus
with all the people
the seed of Chris scattered
to the four winds

The one message spoken
in many languages
that the word could go
to the ends of the earth
