To Find the Right Words

Needing to choose them wisely
to find the right words
in this time of division
to heal the wounds

Needing to stop
to turn to scripture
the message of Jesus
there to reveal

Love for our neighbors
even our enemies
guiding our speech
all that we do

Offering hope
in seeing the Messiah
the living indwelling Christ
speaking through me
