looking
down at my hands
the
blood-stained bread
the
brokenness of Christ
ripped
apart, broken on the cross
held there
with the nails
the spikes
of my rebellion
my
disobedience;
my blood
poured out,
his body broken
for my sin
I am broken
in this life
separated
from God
healed by
the blood of Christ
poured at
the cross
