A mystery of life, understanding,
of that moment of holy conception
when the Spirit overshadowed
Mary, that humble servant girl…
 
An inflection point, a cleave, a break,
a split in time, torn forever, vulnerable,
when infinity entered this world
in a singular kernel of life…”
 
A mystery of life, being faithful,
the eternal made mortal,
the conception of Christ,
God here in the flesh…
 
Our understanding of time transformed
forever, a split, a tear in the fabric,
a radical truth, light, hidden,
within her virgin womb…
