spewing the bouquet of crabapple goosh – v3

Our feet oh so purposeful
perhaps wanting heavy boots
so glad we were not barefoot
mired in the muck, oh so sweet
the scent up from the ground
spewing the bouquet of
crabapple goosh with each step
spreading it out all around
sharing the joy being a kid
even if that was long ago
