In all things, excellence
striving to live our lives
worthy before the Lord
Not a means of earning
our key to heaven’s door
a loving response
to all that the creator gave
the grace he heaps on me
each day of this mortal coil
Coming into his temple
or on my knees in my room
spending time in scripture
opening my heart to my king
yearning to walk more closely
to be at my savior’s side
listening for his message
discerning my master’s call
