with his act of agape love
unspeakable pain did he bear
knowing he had no sin in him
but yet he took its stain
through this act of submission
climbing upon the cross
he took our sin, our pain away
at what a terrible cost
But now, we stand in victory
because our savior died that day
and rose from the cold dark grave
We now, the members of his flock
are free to enter in
Because of his single sacrifice
all time and space is changed
no longer are we cast away
We may see the face of God
