Perfect Forever

In that moment of humble pain
the world gone black,
night upon the land
each of us, all who claim his name
made perfect forever
by his gift of wondrous love
Going as a servant
answering the father’s call
climbing the steps of Golgotha
rising on the cross for all
Our lives ever changed
for all eternity
joining our brother in paradise
if we but accept his offering
