Standing as they preach
empowered to do your work
rising out of our pews
his hands and feet to use
Feeling the spirit
descending on each one
the presence of the Lord
wrapping around our lives
entering into us
Praises raised to the Lord
each heart brought alive
a congregation doing your will
to offer our loving care
to serve our fellow man
to see Christ in our neighbor’s face
to feed and clothe the poor
to offer a bit of grace
