We have neglected to do good

Not close to enough
when we look in the mirror
the ledgers not matching up
the scales not balanced
We have neglected to do good
even when we were able
thinking only of ourselves
everyone else second
We have not cared for the poor
we have not lifted our neighbors
taking advantage where we could
not loving as Christ commanded
