Escalera, Escalera = v2

“Ladder, Ladder!”
a phrase to which
I became accustomed

Being beseeched in Spanish
The Pastor and the Pilgrim
in service to God

Scraping and painting
in the language of service
“Mi nombre es Ray”
“Escalera? Escalera?”
