denying us of wholeness

of love, of community.

cannot stop us, if we choose

not to let them, to focus

on the gifts, the promises,

of Almighty God.

We are not meant to be islands,

cut off from God, our neighbors,

we can’t do this alone.

 

We are meant to be a people,

a family, working together.

 

It is through and in God

we have meaning,

we have purpose;

we live in community.

a quickening, a joining,

the impossible appearing

right before our eyes.

 

vision realized, appearing,

the impossible, a miracle,

seeing hope, promise,

that we find hope, purpose,

on the things of heaven.

avoiding distractions

things of this earth

of the flesh, of sin.

our eyes on Jesus

listening to the Spirit
