Jeff’s ready
watching the action
moving straight for him
at full speed,
fast motion
Black brick
center of attention
sliding on the blade,
stick
Winger on a breakaway
partner, line mate
in the other lane
ready for a feed
Defense falls back,
backward and off balance
caught by the speed
Trying to cut the angle
too late
He slides right to left
anticipating
But they reverse the flow
drive to the net
another pass
