Not a spirit of cowardice,
oh no. We are not of such stuff
a spirit of power, of authority
a voice given to us, to preach,
to proclaim, to share the good news
the gospel to the world,
to tell the joyous story,
the reconciliation by grace
of God and man
through the power of the spirit
living within us
