A Holy Wind

A holy wind,
flames from heaven
filling the disciples
with God's holy spirit
living flames, piercing their bodies
their spirits steeled
by the breath of God
A holy wind
imparting power, authority
on the timid followers
able, in an instant,
to speak, to lead, to inspire
share the life of Christ
his gift of grace
with whole world
