An Image in the Glass

The face of the babe, our savior
swaddled in blue,
wrapped in the blue of the Madonna
his face, pure, innocent
glowing, the sun
streaming in
through the window
the living glass, the very skin of it
sharing the face of our Lord
in this holy ground
